Dominique + Shawn

Deciding to get married on a private personal property has its challenges. However, when you and an expert team of event planners execute the day properly, the results can be truly breathtaking. Dominique and Shawn’s August wedding is a perfect example, as their stunning view over the South Saskatchewan River set the stage for the celebration of the summer.

Guests were transported to Riverside Estates for a late afternoon ceremony, which featured a white rose petal aisle and string quartet. The couple chose to highlight their unique venue by arranging a simple arch at the property’s edge, allowing guests to look out over the river.

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to cocktail hour on the patio while Dominique and Shawn snuck away for formal photos in some of their favourite locations around the property. Yet again, MJ&Co. Wedding Photographers did a phenomenal job when it came to capturing the couple’s most memorable moments.

The 230 guest reception was held under our biggest tent yet, with café lighting strung about the interior for more of a romantic feel. Other details included floral ties, flowing drapery, and chic wooden signage. The mismatched floral centrepieces and dreamy outdoor dance floor were the finishing touches on this elegant summer wedding. To Dominique and Shawn!
